At what time will the room be available?
Check in: from 2.00pm. In any case, we are able to provide access to rooms as soon as guests arrive at the hotel. Please inform the reception desk if you require an early check in. A correct reservation will ensure the room is available upon your arrival, no matter what time. If you expect a late check in we kindly ask you to inform the reception desk.
At what time do we need to vacate the room?
Check out: by 12.00pm. If this is not possible, we kindly ask you to inform the reception desk.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
If you would like to wander throughout the city on your day of departure, we can store your luggage free of charge.
At what time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8.00am until 10.00am. For special requirements, please ask the reception desk.
What type of breakfast is served? Is breakfast included in the price?
We serve a buffet breakfast with croissants, melba toast, bread, assorted jams, honey, chocolate, seasonal fruits, cornflakes and muesli, fruit juices, ham and cheese. Weather permitting, breakfast may also be served in the garden. Yes, breakfast is included in the price.
Is it possible for breakfast to be served in my room?
Of course. Room service is available from 8.00am.
Is there parking at the hotel? How much does it cost?
Hotel Villa dei Bosconi offers guests a large outdoor parking area. To ensure maximum security, during the night the hotel gates are locked, however the parking area is always available to guests. The service is included in the price.
Do you have a pool?
Yes. We have a pool with a hydro-massage tub, complete with umbrellas, lounge chairs, chaise-lounges and tables. Dimensions: 15 x 6 metres plus the hydro-massage tub, for a total of approximately 100m2, max depth 1.60m.
Are prices shown per person or per room?
The price shown is per room per day.
On what level are the rooms located?
The rooms are located across two levels. There is no elevator.
Do the rooms have a television and are there international channels (satellite TV)?
Rooms are all fitted with HD Led TVs with international channels.
Do the rooms have a direct telephone line?
Yes, all rooms have a direct telephone line.
Is it possible to connect to the internet?
We have an internet station available to guests, or alternatively guests can connect using their own computer via the Wi-Fi available in the hotel's common areas.
Have you considered people who have difficulties moving around independently?
The hotel is free from physical barriers and is accessible to people with disabilities. Two rooms are expressly dedicated to people with disabilities, as well as all bathrooms.
Is there air conditioning in the rooms?
All rooms have adjustable air conditioning and heating which is included in the price.
Are domestic pets allowed?
Yes, small and medium sized pets are allowed.
Is there an onsite restaurant?
No, we do not have a restaurant. Nonetheless, there is a broad selection of nearby restaurants which we are happy to recommend and book on guests' behalf.
Does the hotel accept credit cards?
Yes, the hotel accepts all major credit cards: American Express - Visa - Diners - Carta Si - Master Card - Carte Blanche - Eftpos.
Can I request a laundry service?
We do not have a laundry service, however we offer guests a special room where they can iron their garments as needed.
Where is the central train station and how far away is it from the hotel?
The Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence is approximately 8 km from the hotel.
Which is the closest airport?
The A. Vespucci (FLR) Florence airport, at approximately 15 km. The G. Galilei (PSA) Pisa airport is approximately 100 km from the hotel
Do you offer an airport shuttle service?
We do not offer a shuttle service. The cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel is approximately €40.00.
Where can we hire a car?
The largest hire companies are located at the airport or near the train station. We also have an agreement with a small car hire company which can deliver and pick up your hire car directly from the hotel
What are the hotel's safety standards?
The hotel has been built in accordance with current fire prevention legislation and holds relevant certification. Access to rooms is via an electronic locking system with a microchip badge. All wiring systems are compliant with maximum protection systems. All areas in every room have an emergency light. Each room is equipped with an emergency alarm in the bathroom. All rooms are constantly ventilated using an emission and aspiration system. The individual adjustment of room temperature is possible using electronic thermostats.
